In Community National Schools applications shall be opened by the CE/delegated officer in advance of shortlisting.

Printed copies of email communications should be retained on personnel file/s
Subsequent vacancies - change password if using the same email address for electronic applications
All electronic applications must be saved by the school electronically then deleted from the email system.
All shortlisting and interview data should be retained for 18 months
All relevant data held securely only for as long as necessary in compliance with data protection requirement
